Alex is a seasoned attorney with a strong foundation in criminal prosecution and county government law, making her exceptionally well-equipped to handle complex civil litigation. Prior to joining Scanlan Griffiths + Aldridge in 2024, Alex spent eight years as a criminal prosecutor in both state and federal courts in Idaho, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to case management. As a prosecutor, Alex tried dozens of cases to verdict. Most recently, her three years of experience as a civil government lawyer further broadened her expertise, allowing her to navigate intricate legal frameworks and provide sound counsel to her clients on issues ranging from employment law and contract negotiations to premises liability and land use.
Alex brings a unique blend of experience, dedication, and strategic insight to her legal work. She has demonstrated her impressive advocacy skills through arguments before both the Idaho Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, showcasing her ability to handle high-stakes legal challenges with confidence and precision. Alex is deeply invested in her community. She enjoys participating in community service, playing the piano, and hiking and paddleboarding throughout scenic Idaho.
