Jaime Matier

Jaime Matier has extensive experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, personal injury, transportation liability, construction defect, premises liability, and employment law. She assists clients throughout Idaho.

Prior to joining SG+A, Jaime served as a law clerk for the Hon. Daniel Eismann of the Idaho Supreme Court, and the Hon. Nancy A. Baskin of the Idaho Fourth Judicial District in Ada and Elmore Counties. In addition, Jaime completed externships under the supervision of the Hon. Roger S. Burdick of the Idaho Supreme Court and several magistrate and district court judges within the Idaho Fourth Judicial District. Jaime has been in private civil practice in the Boise area since 2018.

During law school, Jaime was an active member of the Idaho Law Review, and served on the executive board as the Chief Boise Editor during her third year. She also worked as a Legal Research and Writing teaching assistant and served as a Vice President of the Board of Student Advocates. In addition, Jaime earned two CALI Awards for Academic Excellence, was a semifinalist for the Best Oralist award in the 2014 McNichols Appellate Advocacy Competition, and received the 2014 Idaho Trial Lawyers Association Excellence in Legal Research and Writing award.

Jaime grew up in Boise, Idaho and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Law and Political Philosophy, with minors in Philosophy and History, from Boise State University in 2012.

Jamie is a graduate of the 2021-2022 class of the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers. She is also an active member of Idaho Women Lawyers and the Richard C. Fields American Inn of Court.
