Kevin Griffiths

With over a decade as a civil litigator, Kevin Griffiths has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation and electronic discovery management, trade secret and unfair competition litigation, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith and extracontractual liability, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, construction defect, premises liability, insurance defense litigation, and appellate practice. He has also served as a visiting lecturer in insurance law and pre-trial practice at the University of Idaho College of Law and regularly serves as materials author and presenter at continuing legal education events. Prior to entering the private sector, Kevin spent one year as a law clerk for the Honorable Jim Jones, Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court.

Kevin holds the certification of Claims Litigation Management Professional from the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. This is the first certification specifically designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the business of litigation management. The rigorous program is geared toward attorneys and those in the litigation management field with 10 or more years of experience, and is designed to bridge the gap between legal theory and litigation strategy, and the business aspects of litigation management.

Kevin is a life-long Idahoan, born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the College of Idaho in 2005 and a juris doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2009, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Kevin served as Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review, competed on the National Moot Court Team, and served as an officer on the Board of Student Advocates.
