
Matt Sato was born and raised in Idaho. He graduated from Boise State University in 2018 with degrees in Economics and Political Science, and he attended law school at the University of Idaho College of Law, where he served as the Chief Articles Editor for the Idaho Critical Legal Studies Journal.
After law school, Matt moved to Casper, Wyoming, where he practiced in a broad range of legal fields, including civil litigation and criminal defense, with a primary focus on medical malpractice and trucking defense. In his time in Wyoming, Matt gained invaluable experience in complex civil trials. Matt moved back to Idaho in 2025 and continues to pursue a career in complex civil litigation. In his free time, Matt enjoys backpacking, camping, fishing, snowboarding and all things outdoors.
